Choice

Today I went to the weight room. I went on the treadmill for about 30 minutes on 4.7. I started to get tired. Since I had a math quiz after I stopped so I would have enough energy to write the quiz. Later on I went to soccer. Today's class was boring because it was crowded. But I stayed positive and still participated

Community Rub

Today in fitness we did the community run. I got 23 min. I am proud of that time but I hope to improve that time by the end of the semester. I didn't feel all that tired during the run and or after the run. My partner motivated and incouraged me to push farther, farther then I would have on my own.

Mid-Term Reflection


During PE this year, how have you shown you are prepared and willing to participate in a variety of activities? 
On what days have you participated to your best effort and 
why?  What days have been a struggle for you and why?

I have brought my gym strip everyday except for one day, but I wore shorts and participated. On choice days I have participated with my best effort because there is more then one chose to choose from. Beep test days are a struggle for me because I usually don't eat at lunch and when pe class comes along, I am hungry and I have no energy. 

How do you contribute to the overall success of the class?  What kind of attitude do you bring and why?  How do you interact with other students in our class?

I contribute to the class by coming to class and respecting others. I bring a positive attitude to the class because PE is where I am the happiest. I don't talk to a lot of the people in my class other than the people I know well. But when there is an activity I don't like, I still try my best because the people do enjoy the activity don't want people that don't try. 



Describe your participation during fitness days - have you been able to push yourself physically?  What types of fitness activities do you enjoy the most?  What fitness goals do you have for the rest of the year? 

I have not pushed myself to my potential and I don't know the reason why. I enjoy doing the relay race around the back parking lot because we get breaks in between. My fitness goal for this year is to get atleast a 11.7 on the beep test. 



What does "leadership" mean to you?  Who are the best leaders in our class - why? 

To me the word leadership is respecting others while taking matters into your hands by setting up activities. I think Keziah is the best leader because she's always in a positive mood while setting activities up. 

What improvements would you like to make in PE by the end of the year?  What are 
you the most proud of so far?

My number one improvement to make in PE by the end of the year is to be more mentally and obstinately active. My beep test score is what I'm most proud of because I got 11.3 and last year I got 10.2


Finally, what letter grade A, B, C+, C, C- (gulp) best represents the effort you just described? In Grade 10-12 we need an actual percentage as well. :(

I think I deserve an B because I am fit and respect others. The percent I gave myself is %80

Hill Run

During the hill run I didn't really feel a burn. But one day after my thighs were sore but soon after it went away and I felt much lighter when I ran during hockey or soccer. I got around 4500 steps during the hill run. I enjoy the hill run, but one downside is the number of people, I can't get to my top speed because there are so many people and I keep having to slow down to avoid running into them 

Insanity #2

This insanity was different from the one before because this time it was more about balance and endurance which are my weaknesses. My goal for this year is to greatly improve my balance and flexibility 

Insanity

During the workout I felt like puking but I worked through it and after the workout it felt normal. I like doing insanity because it has both cardio and strength activities. It gets me really active and I can feel my body wanting to quit but at the end of the day it's all worth it 

Full Beep Test

I was doing 1:1 till 8 and then from there I started to do 2:1 because I was beginning to feel tired. By the time it was finished I felt like puking but it was worth it 

Beep Test #2

This time on the beep test I did bad I got 10.3 I think. The reason I did bad was because my knee started to hurt 

Circuit

The circuit was fun because you could do a different activity every time. I think I could have worked harder but since I didn't have a lunch it held me bake from my full potential 

Pyramid

I enjoyed doing the pyramid because it contains cardio and I enjoy doing cardio workouts
